The Man Who Died Twice: Ryan's Story of Workplace Violence
Have you ever been afraid to go to work because you fear violence happening to you there? Would you know what to do if confronted with harassment, bullying, threats, or extreme physical violence where you work?
This story is not only the memoir of Regina's family trauma caused by workplace violence; it also serves as a resource for information about workplace violence prevention and mitigation.
Inside this story, you will discover:
-
How to recognize when someone at your workplace has crossed the line into violence with what they say or do
-
Steps employers can (and should) take to establish a cost-effective program for preventing and mitigating workplace violence
-
What employees can do to understand that they are not powerless against the threat of workplace violence
The sad truth is that we live in an ever more violent world. More than one in five people employed have experienced violence and harassment in the workplace. Because of those who choose violence as a solution to their problems, life is dangerous for the rest of us. This book helps shine a light on this insidious problem.

Inspired by the life and tragic loss of her son, Regina has made it her personal mission to make others aware of the devastation caused by workplace violence. Through honest storytelling and thoughtful insight, Regina invites listeners into her family's journey of grief, resilience, and the pursuit of justice while emphasizing the importance of recognizing warning signs and strengthening workplace safety.
Drawing from this unique, dual perspective allows her presentations to serve as both a personal narrative and a practical resource for employers, employees, safety professionals, educators, and community leaders seeking to better understand workplace violence prevention and mitigation.
Please note: Due to her husband's health status, Regina is not currently booking in-person speaking engagements outside of Arizona. It is hoped that the situation is temporary and will improve with time and prayers.
Artist
Regina has been a mixed media artist for many years. Although she has displayed much of her artwork in galleries, art shows, and publications, she has created art pieces during the past few years that reflect her desire to overcome the grief associated with trauma.

Whatever you create--whether it's art, writing, music, or dance--every brushstroke, every word, every note, every movement is a step towards enriching your brain and feeding your soul.
The pieces shown here are but a small portion of Regina's portfolio. Although they are not for sale, please enjoy viewing them and realize that they have brought her so much healing power.
